In case you missed it: Three of the far-right's biggest darlings went DOWN!
J.D. Hayworth from Arizona, Santorum from PA and now George Allen from Virginia. These guys where up and coming stars in the far right, specially Allen. Hell, Allen was seen as a frontrunner for the presidency in 2008 a few months back. Hayworth, aside from being an overall asshole, was the favorite of all the right-wing talking heads, what a "real" conservative should be like, he's now gone.

Santorum of course, was the highest ranking GOP Senator up for re-election and the darling of the christian right (Along with Sammy Brownback).

So yes, we didn't just win, we beat some of the key figures of the far right. Remember that when people claim only "RINOS" or moderate republicans lost.

2. Nice indeed!
It just makes the victory a lot sweeter. Not that I mind booting out "centrist" GOPers, mind you!

5. 3 bloviating sacks of crap...

7. Did we make a real aim at them?
I feel they did it to them self. Hayworth has always been a pain. I can recall he used to sit in the House and make fun of the speakers at one time. He got in trouble for it in fact.

8. It's a mandate against their propaganda.
That still needs investigated, though.
