I know its official now. We control the House and the Senate. Yet somehow I just cant let myself get too excited because I just dont believe this has actually happened. I think Im sort of in a daze. I guess it will finally fully register with me when I watch CSPAN for the 1st time next January for the 1st time in the new session. Maybe after taking so much abuse, its I am conditioned to expect the worse to happen?

Anyone else not believing what they are seeing?

1. I'm still wary of them ...
... one just never knows what the evil bunch of GOP criminals is up to.

2. I'm waiting for the SC to announce the election is void or some such
I posted this in another thread: I'm just now in that state of not being sure that I'm not in one of those dreams where you think you've woken up from the nightmare, but you're really still in the nightmare, and making you think it's over is the most frightening part of the nightmare.

3. Waiting for something to jerk it all away from us. As if it was a dream that
will vanish when one awakens.

4. Always with the negative waves, Moriarity!
Remember the movie, Kelly's Heroes, the Clint Eastwood movie about a WW II bank heist behind enemy lines. I always loved Donald Sutherland's clearly anachronistic hippie character, Oddball.

Always with the negative waves!

Just thought I'd cheer you up a bit.

5. I believe that the Dems control the House and the Senate, but I do
not believe that the people have control, yet. Corporate money will still play a key role in Washington for some time to come. This is no time to relax, but a time to fight harder.
