I am betting he is planning his exit from the WH.

11. I'm guessing Cheney is irrelevant now.
The neocons in the WH are toast and they know it. Rummy's GONE. My guess is that Cheney has gone from being the most powerful person in the WH to the most irrelevant one. He won't resign but will just be ignored now that Poppy Bush has sent in the Old Guys like Jim Baker and Gates to save W's ass.

I hope I'm wrong -- and that Darth Cheney quits.

17. Was he standing behind Bush at 11:30 am today? w/rest of Cabinet?
It sure seems like Bush has cut Cheney off from exercising any kind of power. I think this WH knows what is coming down the pipe for CHeney, because Rove help build the case against Cheney. I would suspect a deal has been struck. Cheney will remain quiet. Bush will not kick him out of the WH(yet). Cheney will leave when indicted. Bush will eventually pardon Cheney and Libby.
