It's close, but she'll undoubtedly lose this. However, the good doctor is shrewd and is doing the right thing--waiting until the votes are counted.

7. The gap is quite large.

Wulsin is behind by ~2300 votes. There's not much hope that provisional ballots will bring that kind of swing, especially in this Republican district.

Now there might be some funny business exposed, which is precisely why Dr. Wulsin is correct in waiting. She may even choose to use this to expose some of it. That would be good, too.

However, when all is said and done, it is very unlikely that Dr. Wulsin will get to represent the 2nd district of Ohio during the 110th Congress. That's just reality.

But I wish her the best of luck against that loonie, Schmidt. This is one I really want to flip, as do many of us here.

8. update - just got off the phone with her office

They are getting a lot of help from the DCCC and the provisional ballots won't be counted until the "tenth day" with annoucnement on the 11th day, which is Sat, Nov 18th.
