There's simply got to be consequences for their misdeeds. Agree? |
|
If we move forward and forget about what's happened the last 6 years---then they got away with it.

1. We need to revisit Watergate |
|
Nixon got off. We shouldn't let any of them get away this time. Otherwise we'll be doing this all over again in about 10 years.

2. You're right. And what's more.... |

Too many people in this administration were part and parcel of that administration's corruption, starting with Cheney and Rumsfeld.

If we just pick up where they left off--we have desecrated the Constitution as badly as they have.

We don't need to kick a man when he is down but we do need to hold him accountable. We need to investigate the Halliburton give aways and the lies that got us into Iraq. Investigating and dealing out the consequences of those investigations is the best thing to do for our country.

8. Agreed. And, it is up to each of us to make certain that happens. |

Never, Ever Forget: George W. Bush willfully violated National Security to cover-up his willful launch of a war of aggression and illegal occupation of Iraq .... and, now he willfully provided nuke-making instructions to terrorists -- if you doubt it, just check 'the google' ....

But if we try for impeachment when America doesn't want it, I don't think it'll be good for the Democrats. Ringo

10. I want the truth and ALL the truth to come out |
|
Whether Bush is impeached or not is of lesser importance to me. But perhaps the truth can only fully come out during impeachment proceedings. I do want some kind of special prosecutor to be appointed to find out exactly what the hell has been happening during the last six years, regarding Iraq, Katrina, energy policy, the environment, the anthrax mailings, and especially regarding the events of September 11th. Let the American people be the judge of Bush, after they know ALL the facts. The airing of all the activities of the Bush Administration during the last six years, and the public's response to it, will be the best punishment for Bush.

Like the German's and Japanese after WW2, the American Leaders of the last six years must be FORCED TO ACCOUNT IN A COURT OF LAW for their crimes.
That is, if we all still give A RATS ASS about the principles we have fought wars for; that are in the US CONSTITUTION!
Like Frank Zappa once said describing himself, I am also "a constitutional fundamentalist"!
