Rapture Ready board: "Everyone knows IMPEACHMENT is coming!"
Edited on Thu Nov-09-06 05:10 PM by Bluebear
 A 'for gone' conclusion. Guess they know some crimes were committed!

"After the defeat of the Republicans and the capitulation of President Bush to the Democrats, I wonder if this is how it's going to play out when Israel is attacked by the Arab nations while the rest of the world stands back in amazment and asks if they mean Israel harm and are they there to take booty since we won't be able to respond because we will be getting hit ourselves with terrorists. Another nightmare thought I've had ever since last night is, everyone knows that there will be impeachment proceedings against Bush and Cheney, that's a for gone conclusion as far as I'm concerned, and let's say that both Bush and Cheney are impeached, guess who becomes president.....three guesses and the first two don't count........can you say Madam President Pelosi???? And since power is the main driving force of Ms. Pelosi, she could, in 2008, run as an incumbent and of course by then there would be more than enough illegals in the country to vote for her. That's my nightmare! That along with the US abandoning Israel. I am not hopeful at all except that Jesus, please come soon, it's getting too crazy here."

3. These people *are* aware that illegals can't vote, right?
In addition to their rampant xenophobia, they have a rather rudimentary idea of how our election system works.

11. Quick...Get Out The Nikes & Mix Some Kool-Aid!
For such "tough people", these chickenshits sure sound scared. It's funny to see them now spin every stereotype into a fear, like it's some comic book with new fears added onto the old ones.

We owe these people some thanks for the election victory. It was their over-the-top chutzpah with Schaivo and the insertion of their "values" (translation: myopic, repressed worldview) into politics that made a lot of rational people to repudiate their intrustion into our social and private lives by turning up at the polls.

The fun in the next year will be how the fundies deal with their "Repugnican problem"...from being pissed by being ignored by booosh and angry with the "moderates" who "lost" them the election. It divide was there going into election day...and now in defeat and the ensuing power struggle, the religious right will either find themselves torn apart.

12. Quite true
And they are so self-absorbed that it will never occur to them that they lost precisely because they drove everyone away.

14. It's weird, isn't it.
Repukes assume there will be impeachment proceedings. Presumably, they know their leaders deserve it, while we, here, debate whether or not it would be a good idea?

Come on, people. The whole world expects * to be impeached. I hope we don't let them down.

18. I don't get it.
It's a foregone conclusion that Bush and Cheney will be convicted and impeached. If that's the case, then what's wrong with it?

Doesn't he know it takes a 2/3rds majority to convict the president? There would have to be irrefutable evidence there were impeachable crimes(and everybody will have to agree on "what impeachable" is before anybody is convicted?

23. so they knew all along their pres and vp were breaking the law and dont care
the right doesnt get their very worst hypocrisy trying to diss dems by saying they will impeach instead they ae saying all along you guys were right these people are corrupt and we dont want them punished, further we want to protect them to alow them to cntinue to break the law. every person that thinks there is the threat of impeachment is confirming their party is crooked and corrupt. they are daft in not gettting the basic to life

25. First Of All: "Capitulation"
Um, morons: This is a democratic republic. He's not capitulating. He's paying attention to the PEOPLE!

Secondly, i'm going with the thought that the Dems winning is God's will. God is angry with republicans. Especially the ones who write drivel like this nonsense at Rapture Ready.
