11. I linked to the letters section and
most of them, with one exception, were wonderful (thanks again, New York!) I especially liked the final line from one letter that mourned the tremendous and, in some cases, maybe even irreparable, damage done to the country and the world these past six years.

"The adults once again stand at the doorway of the nursery, surveying the damage. Perhaps we can repair it all, but I am not optimistic."

The analogy of adults surveying the wreckage of a nursery after leaving children alone is especially apt, I think.
