For the first time since she took over I watched Katie Couric on CBS |

Most of it was dedicated to Ed Bradley and it was clear that some of his friends and colleagues were holding back tears.
CBS is supposed to have an hour dedicated to him later this evening, but Couric did not give details.

Even after vowing not to, because The Katie Show is so horrible. Tonight was heartfelt.
The irony is that Ed's passing is like the close of an era for CBS News, which used to be world-class. Ed is one of the best that's ever done what he does, and the stuff that passes for 'news' at CBS nowadays is pretty sad.

the last time I saw him a few months ago he looked like a cancer patient and I said so to my hubby.
