If you missed Colbert last night |
|
he should be again at 8:30 Eastern (and Pacific?) 7:30 Central (and Mountain?)
It is a masterpiece. From his "today's word" through harmonizing the national anthem with John Hall - that even cynics like me had to stop and listen - and ending with his: Rest in Peace, Republican Majority 1994-2006 - a celebration of ingenuity.

For the people with cable and shiny new computers.
The rest of us will do without.

13. Oh, to be fair. He did not say "computers" |
|
but "shiny new computers" where, I suppose, one can view a video from YouTube, for example.

But I did send a very nasty email to my friend who works tech on the Colbert Report.
I wanted him to know that I have been made unhappy.

out of respect for people without cables and computers...
I'll stop posting threads about cable shows when I'm not on a computer.

6. Yes he was, the second time, and attributed his first appearance |
|
to his winning.
I don't know how to navigate YouTube... hopefully there are others here who do.

11. Better Know a District, because the incumbent refused to be on... |
|
So he went on, and was a good sport about it. It's just that much more hilarious that Colbert had him on again last night. (And they sang in harmony!)

10. I agree -- it was a GREAT show!!! |
|
I love him every night, but he twisted things in a different way last night, and it was terrific. The "memorial" piece in "honor" of the Republican Majority was fantastic!!
The Colbert Report will always have plenty to work with!!
