What Pelosi should say: A Bush veto = Impeachment hearings
I want to see criminal investigations. I expect they will lead to resignations, impeachment, and/or serious jail time. I'm not willing to ignore the crimes of the GOP. Both Bush and Cheney need to be investigated, charged and brought to trial. The corruption of this administration needs to be exposed.

This is not about revenge or politics. This is about justice and standing up for what is right in this country.

But I am willing to postpone impeachment hearings on one condition: that it be made clear to Bush that a presidential veto on any Democratic legislation whatsoever over the next two years will be followed by a full scale Congressional investigation and impeachment of any official in his administration found guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors (including him). This should be followed by criminal prosecution of said individuals. Let the most corrupt administration in the history of this nation stew on that idea for awhile.

10. Sign any bill, or...
re-submit any Right-wing nominations! Whoops, too late, he re-submitted John Bolton for UN Ambassador. Impeach away!

18. Maybe that's the unspoken message the leadership has already sent
I hope so. If every one of Bush's vile laws are suddenly repealed, we will have cause for suspicion.

Or what if the Bush's SCOTUS appointments resigned to save Georgie Boy's ass?

I guess it's a good thing I'm not in charge. I'd be sitting up nights thinking of new ways to manipulate the ventriloquist dummy.

11. And an extra NO NUKE clause! YIKES!
You are right. There are real dangers to pussyfooting around where this president is concerned.

Maybe they should keep him under house arrest.

12. While I think your heart is in the right place, somehow I think becoming
a repug isn't the best course of action - IMHO. Double dealing and playing dirty isn't exactly the way to bring a little bit of polite discourse back to DC. The repugs are thugs and just because they have treated us like crap doesn't mean we should too. Blackmailing someone like Chucklenuts is like trying to play chicken with a concrete barrier - you may "prove" you have bigger balls and not blink but you still crash and burn.

I, personally, would love to see Chucklenuts, Dead Eye and the whole Cabal frog marched out of the people's house, put on a plane and flown directly to The Hague.

14. Why shouldn't he be forced to undo the damage he's done first?
We can shove a whole lot of legislation up his ass before any of us are in danger of crashing and burning. The only ones in danger are the guilty whose chickens are coming home to roost.

"...frog marched out of the people's house, put on a plane and flown directly to The Hague." I like your idea too.

15. I don't see why the 3K dead US soldiers and 100K dead civilians should wait
for justice while we have fun twisting George "Pol Pot" Bush's arm.

17. I was hoping this could all take place in the first 100 hours
Your point though about his very real danger to our nation is well taken.

All I want is his signatures on the bills overturning all the vile legislation he signed into law the past six years.

Otherwise, he gets fitted for his new uniform.

Don't think I'd be doing it for fun. We have a rare opportunity at a Restoration government. Let's not blow it.
Undo Bush's legacy of crime and corruption first, impeach him afterward.
