Back in 2000, immediately after he was installed as President by the Supreme Court, chimpy invited Senator Ted Kennedy over for movies and popcorn. Kennedy couldn't wait to go, although this was after a bruising, seriously immoral and unjust election. He went, and soon we had the disgusting bipartisan "education" bill, otherwise known as No Child Left Behind. It was a disgusting display from a Senator that I generally admire and respect.
Flash forward six years. We're the winners now. But am I wrong to fell deja vu all over again when I hear all the happy talk about luncheon dates? I'm willing to give it some time, but jeez...even Ed Shultz was after the Dems to show some spine today!
