Not so much -- at least not the genius part. I think it's fair to say KKKarl has lost his mojo, assuming he ever had any mojo and was more than merely a cunning, amoral gut-fighter. So can we finally agree that Rove is not the Ming the Merciless/Dr. Evil mastermind who contrives brilliantly depraved conspiracies that control everything, years in advance? Seems to me that Karl has been totally punk'd, and that it was bound to happen eventually.
Karl Rove, evil genius? Hardly. The Permanent Republican Majority has gone the way of Hitler's Thousand-Year Reich.

3. Have there been any Rove sightings since Tuesday? |
|
Is he in some sub-basement on the Hill (you know.. UNDER where they stuck the Democrats for all these years?)

4. More like, KKKarl Rove, a fortunate two bit thug whose luck has run out. |
|
I heard that Rove is NOW residing in Barney's Doghouse - and - Barney is curled up in KKKarl's favorite chair in the West Wing.

5. Lets hold the back-slapping until 2008, okay? Rove isn't gone |
|
and he probably isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The White House will dance and sing and put on a great show, but THEY will never lose sight of the prize, never, never, never.
All Tuesday does is give KKKarl a whole new bunch of targets, and people to blame for Bush's failed policies. From now on it won't be Clinton's fault, it'll be Congresses.

6. I disagree. Rove IS an evil genius (not infallible or anything, though) |
|
His string just ran out. The reality caught up with him/them. Too many holes in the dyke to plug.
DON'T count these fuckers out. Not a bit. History has shown they have come back in a more vile form each time.
Watergate, Iran-Contra, the disasterous flirtation with the New Totalitarianism which still isn't fully over until Jan 2009.
Let us not forget it is still legally permissible to sweep us off the streets for no reason under the discretion of Der Fuehrer. Doesn't matter that they aren't doing it. It is an "legal" path that should not exist in a Free Nation.
