The Democrats skilled at covering up the crimes of BushInc who lead the coverup wing of the Democratic party....

Against

The Democrats who represent the anti-corruption, open government wing of the Democratic Party.

1. Isn't two wings enough?
Three wings or four would make us look like one of those hideous genetic modification experiments.

7. No worries. I realized what you meant...
It was just an interesting way to phrase it.

8. I started out saying they were the ONLY two wings that mattered at this point
because that is the essence of the battle on every other issue, especially as it relates to BushInc.

But after I read your post, I realized it needed changing and made simpler.

What can I say - I'm an awkward writer. ;)

2. Interesting quote:
"Reporting about a booklet issued by the Progressive Policy Institute, a think tank of the Democratic Leadership Council, the Washington Post wrote, “these centrist Democrats … warned against calls to launch investigations into past administration decisions if Democrats gain control of the House or Senate in the November elections.”

These Democrats also called on the party to reject its “non-interventionist left” wing, which opposed the Iraq War and which wants Bush held accountable for the deceptions that surrounded it."

Do you remember not long ago, Lieberman said he did not want investigations into the time leading up the war vote?

I posted about it somewhere.

4. And what is happening again - just as Robert Parry predicted?
The signs were there already last spring.

I think it's why the coverup Dems started jumping in front of the cameras as soon as it was apparent that the Dems who had worked and carried the load throughout the post 9-11 years were finally strong enough to turn things around in the public eye. So the last two monthsm, who has been popping up in the corpmedia as the representative voices? The coverup crew who had NOTHING to do with Tuesdays' victory.

3. Priority #1: get us out of Iraq. That will be hard but important to America.
Democrats and Americans need to think about what Bush is doing. He's stalling for more time. The Baker commission will only repeat the mistakes that America made in Vietnam. Leaving Iraq is critical to the future of America. Did America fall after Vietnam fell? Heck no. In fact Vietnam is becoming our friend.

5. Except the coverup Dems are also those who will support the "Baker-Hamilton" report.
Support the coverup Dems and you prolong the war. Hamilton has long been the warning sign that Dems will participate in whatever the 'bipartisan panel' chooses to do in Iraq. You think Bill and Poppy haven't discussed this?

9. Heads up - Now the coverup wing is attacking Dean - Carville's strategy is to take out
Dean, Kerry and every anti-corruption Democrat they can.

11. Interesting way of looking at it.
I wonder if Tuesday's election has changed the dynamic? A lot of the new Congress people were elected on clean-government platforms.
