What can we actually expect from this Congress and President?

What laws and changes do you think the Dems will be able to get through the President? I am sure Bush will veto any far reaching legislation. The only thing I can think of for sure that he will probably give us is a minimum wage increase. I think many GOP congressmen will be tripping over themselves to get to the center next year and this bill will have widespread support. Bush will sign it. Also, if the Dems push through workplace protection for gays I actually think he would sign it. I believe he would veto hate crimes though. I think they will work out some type of immigration reform as well which will probably end up just as shitty as the No Child Left Behind.

...investigations, impeachment, cutting the purse strings for Iraq, etc. Those are things this congress can do.
