" I'm more affraid of Nancy Pelosi than Bush ! "
I overheard an old bugger say this to his buddies at the Coffee Shop this morning. He followed his thoughts on Pelosi with " I don't think I can take another day of these Democrats gloating! So I flipped open my cell phone, dialed a friend and gloated loud enough for the 3 old buggers to hear. I took a little perverse joy in silencing their conversation. I had thoughts of engaging them in a debate but... I'd look pretty funny going fist to cuffs with three old men.

1. So He Dies of Spite--No Great Loss!
This is a good case of too stupid to live. Glad you could twist the knife in those twits.

3. It's interesting they all have memory problems because if I
remember correctly they told us to "get over it" even though there was evidence of vote tampering.....they told us to "shut up"....it's only been a day....they have had twelve years....

13. Don't Forget The Bloody Map
the one of the US with all the counties Bush won in red, you know the one that made it look like the country was hemorrhaging.

Sick of us gloating...let us enjoy and savor our victory. We will be sure to treat you as graciously as you did us in 1994, 2000, 2002 and 2004.

4. Proably said the same thing about Kerry
For some reason or other they think a draft dodging stoner would make a better "war president" than an actual soldier. :eyes:

12. Kerry: A highly decorated Naval Officer
Bush: Also highly decorated many of the times he was passed out drunk.

5. That guy must have a short memory
The Republicans gloated non-stop about their "Revolution" after winning the midterm back in 1994. Wonder if he was one of the "gloatees"!

8. I think many voters are nervous of an un-known new speaker taking the helm of speakership
It takes time to get use to it. Of course, no woman in the history of the Republic ever sat such chair.

10. Reminds me of
the Dana Carvey character on SNL when he dressed as an old dude and talked about how bad things were in the old days, and it was always followed up by "and we liked it."

16. Went to PI under Carter,
graduated under Rayguns, I highly recommend the therapeutic quality of the environment for all the "bad asses" that love war and killing. I think the up close and personal feeling of running ten miles loaded up, is lost in the video game world of the day.

17. I couldn't agree more.
"Therapeutic quality of the environment" LOL! I plan to steal that one.

SD in 85, recalled from the IRR for the Gulf War. I didn't leave Pendleton. The War ended. No need for the thousands of Marines they had Reactivated for CRC's (Casualty Replacment Company's). Now the Corps is in it deep. Every time I hear or read a Marine has died in Iraq, I feel guilty that it didn't happen 15 years ago when there were close 400,000 troops and 10's of nations poised to take Bagdahd. It could have happened then and I'm sorry it's happening at all.
