The Vanishing Veep: Where the Hell Is Cheney?

This is getting deeply suspicious. Cheney fled Washington the day before the Election, supposedly to some hunting lodge in South Dakota.

Election Day came and went. Republicans lost the House, and by today they’d lost the Senate. Rumsfeld is gone. Mehlman is gone. Bolton is gone. Bush is eating “pasta and chocolates” with Pelosi.

We would be irresponsible not to ask, Did Bush Sr. have Cheney assassinated? Because for such a Chatty Cathy before the Election, not a word has been heard from Dick since Monday.

Well, it turns out he’s “alive.” Not talking, possibly not invited to talk, possibly just privately planning to beat Karl Rove to death with Laura Bush’s body. But he continues to walk the Earth. We’re still in grave danger. The picture was taken today at the White House.

Going after Cheney's task force?

One priority of the incoming Democratic Congress will be to repeal tax breaks given to Big Oil in last year's Energy Act — and they may investigate the controversial task force behind the legislation while they're at it. Sarah Gardner reports.

9. Did they make him sit at the kid's table?
He's certainly not worthy of lunching at the big table with the grown ups.

11. There was a photo of him walking about 5 paces behind
the chimp. His head was down and he looked very unhappy.

On the even better news side of this, I'm pretty sure that even should the evil bastards get control back of the House someday in the far future, nobody will be introducing bills to put the chimp on any money or to make a place for him at Mt. Rushmore, nor will there be any federal buildings named after him. The repukes are done with him... and the neocons as well.

10. "Pierre South Dakota"Lock your doors and stay away from your windows.
Especially if you live in the Pierre area. Dick Cheney is coming to South Dakota for his first hunting trip since he “accidentally” shot his hunting companion. Cheney will be flying into Pierre tomorrow (election day?) for several days of target practice, oops hunting, at a local private lodge.
