Took a good Democratic candidate, a tough election, and just a couple of months to turn George Felix from 2008 contender to former senator. This is what can happen when we fight. Mr. Allen was not good for the body politic, and not good for the future of the country. Jim Webb stepped up and fought him toe-to-toe in a tough campaign and prevailed. The prospects for an Allen presidency have dimmed considerably if they have not been extinguished altogether.

I'm not surprised Allen's feeling a little discombobulated. Tough break, macaca-head.
