Is Mr.bush really the Head of the Republican Party?
He said so in his press conference. "'m obviously disappointed with the outcome of the election, and as the head of the Republican Party, I share a large part of the responsibility. I told my party's leaders that it is now our duty to put the elections behind us and work together with the Democrats and independents on the great issues facing this country." http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/11/20061108-2.html

And all this time I thought he was the ass of the Republican Party.

3. I thought that comment was reprehensible. A President is supposed
to regard himself as leader of ALL OF US.

4. Several things he said struck me and this was one.
I wondered about it and thought Mehlman was head. Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman.

5. No, in fact, he's not
He has delusions of grandeur and thinks he's in charge of everything. What he is, is an incompetent, vainglorious ass.

8. Indeed. His opener for example"Thank you. I say, why all the glum faces?"
Everyone was trying to not break into cheers or outright laughter at him. Glum faces? pshaw
