For the last 3 years they have been telling us how great the economy is
The MSM, the business channels, newspapers, everyday

If the economy was as good as they would like people to believe, then how come they lost Congress?

1. I can't get over the feeling that I'm working my butt off paying taxes
all for the benefit of a limo load of mega rich power brokers somewhere.
Guess that feeling is what they make drugs and alcohol for.

3. I jumped out of the main stream economy in 2002
because I knew it was a cluster fuck. I decided it wasn't worth breakng my back to support an economy that didn't support me. I feel bad for those that were trapped into playing the game to stay afloat. Between paying the bills and trying to get good people elected, I'll be cash poor in another year or so. I hope that's enough to make a serious change. I miss getting paid to do what I do, but it feels better than bending over to be abused by people who don't appreciate your contribution.

They lost because there are more people who earn their living through their efforts than their assets. When working people see their efforts go unrewarded, they'll be acutely aware of how the "economy" affects them. My rule of thumb says the better the stock market does, the harder it is on working people.
