I thought of Senator Reid today and remembered the "hearings" |
|
he held regarding the record oil profits. I watched the hearing, it was good and facts were gathered and regular Americans were there to "testify" - I thought of Senator Reid with very positive remembrances of this. Among other things, he spoke about the apparent lack of a "free market" in the oil and gas industry currently because if the mom and pop businesses can't stay competitive against the giants then it's not a free market. Okay, I am no economist but it made sense.
Anyway, I thought maybe now he can hold real hearings on this subject and those criminal "Exxon types" will have no choice but to show up and try to justify their actions or whatever.
