Did 11-07-06 Change Everything? |
|
Time will tell I suppose, but it has to change something. Will the Democratic win make up for the old myth that nine eleven changed everything?

1. Things always change and we can count on it. For better? |
|
Well I like it this way as I hate one party govt. I do not trust people with all that money and power with out some one watching out for us.. . Or them self. What ever some one has to check on 'them' on each side. If we look at body languages, which Bush is always talking about, his sure looked bad in the pictures with the Dem.

2. It sure feels like it. |
|
And I'm not the only one with the perception. A buddy said that it seemed "the tide has turned".

3. Inspite of the current bulk media mimimizing of the scale of the change... |
|
If not a change in itself, it's a very loud call from the people of the United States *for* a big change.
Our new leaders ignore it at their peril.

4. I actually don't think it's a myth |
|
I sure know 9/11 changed a lot for me. I wouldn't be in the Army Reserve if it wasn't for 9/11/2001.

5. all the election did was give Democrats the opportunity . . . |
|
to prove they can govern effectively . . . to solve problems, to balance budgets, to end wars, to address the real problems affecting real people . . . that's all . . .
what we do with that opportunity will determine how we fare in 2008 . . .

6. The game clock hasn't even restarted yet....of course nothing's changed yet |
|
However, we are about to see if this put any wind back in the DCDems. In days we'll know how they respond to Bushs last attempts to use his rubberstamp Congress.
Hopefully the Dems will firmly take away the inkpad and things will be different.
