A true oxygen thief...Dad shocks baby with cattle prod

This guy is a real piece of work.

21 year old Brandon Alan Austille began abusing his daughter when she was 4 days old.
This is what he has confessed to:
1. stunning the baby twice with a cattle prod
2. smashing her head onto the bathroom sink and the dining room table
3. dragging the baby out of the crib by her leg
4. holding the baby over his shoulder until he heard the leg break

She had the following injuries:
1. broken left tibia
2. broken left ulna
3. broken left femur
4. face fractures
5. two skull fractures

This guy whould be steralized and spend the rest of his life in prison.

when I read something like this and wonder what could cause this sort of abuse. I cringe at the thought of the agony the child must be experiencing not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. A brain of four days post-partum cannot understand why...but what does it try to understand here???
