I think I'll fly an American flag this Veterans' Day.
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 08:51 AM by MyPetRock
I am proud of my country for the first time in 6 long years. It's wonderful to actually feel a rush of patriotism, and have the knowledge that I can hold my American head high once again.

1. Good for you
The flag never did belong only to Republicans.

4. Happy Birthday in advance!
How cool to be able to celebrate your birthday and the beginning of our country's restoration on the same day! :toast:

6. Me too.
I was at a football game last night where they played the national anthem, and I actually felt proud again.

There is hope.

7. I removed my flag after the "election" in 2004.
I'm going to put up a new one, with a sign that says, "Proud to be an American again!"
