2. Selective Service is asking veterans to wear their medals on the left side

12. Some of us (like me) threw them out.

(One of my medals was finally awarded after I ETS'd. I never collected it.) My Honorable Discharge is more meaningful to me. I don't need to WEAR something as a substitute for what's inside me.

16. IMO that is nothing more than glorifying war

We can honor our service and our veterans without such a public display. If you are in uniform or in a veteran's day parade then go for it but otherwise I find it offensive...
