Breaking on FOX: George Bush says Rumsfeld didn't resign! |
|
George Bush is now denying that Rumsfeld resigned!
"Rumsfeld has not resigned. I never said he resigned. That's just a mis-characterizing of the Democrat party. That's just not true. It's a mismanipulation of the truth. Rumsfeld is doing a fabulous job."
Gotcha?

4. Let's see, Bush didn't fire him, and Bush says he didn't resign.... |
|
...so, ruling out divine intervention, he was apparently knocked off by the voters in Tuesday's election. Hey, I'll buy that!

"Democrat" party is a right-wing identifier of extreme exclusionary partisanship. Just about everyone who has used that perjorative has gone down in flames. Think about it -- Gingrich (the originator), Delay, Allen, Bob Barr, Katherine Harris, and now Bush. I say let the GOP fringe keep this term in their vocabulary -- once it's uttered, a political curse is placed on the head of the user. More power to 'em!

7. For your enjoyment, " The 'IC' Factor" by Henrik Hertzberg |
|
http://www.newyorker.com/printables/talk/060807ta_talk_hertzberg... "In days gone by, the anti-“ic” tic tended to be reined in at the Presidential level. Ronald Reagan never used it in polite company, and George Bush père was too well brought up to use the truncated version of the out party’s name more than sparingly. Not so Bush fils— ..."

3. Well, if he didn't resign, then he was fired--it has to be one of the two |
|
Anybody who quits his job is resigning unless the boss fires him. Doesn't that idiot understand anything?
