Further evidence of the cleaving of the BFEE faction from the Neocon faction

US President George W. Bush (L) followed by Vice President Dick Cheney (R) returns to the Oval Office. Bush is due to meet the future Senate majority leader after the Republican rout in Congressional elections, but the new spirit of compromise was already being tested over the war in Iraq.(AFP/File/Tim Sloan) --- November 10, 2006

Now that Cheney's right hand man Rummy is out on his ear, this leaves Cheney struggling like a cockroach on its back.

Poppy's men, led by Baker and Gates, have steamrolled their way into Junior's office and are taking control of the wee one. This is par for their exclusive little golf course. It's not about "saving" Junior any more. Poppy and his men have more important concerns of maintaining BFEE global reach. Junior has just screwed it up for them, and royally. And the BFEE must be preserved at any cost.

Cheney and his neocons also screwed up, badly, with all their talk of hearts and flowers, last throes, singing songs about us to our children, "6 days....6 weeks... I doubt 6 months..." rhetoric.

Poppy and his men won't allow Cheney to keep his power. Wouldn't be prudent.

I wager this is how it all will play out in the days, weeks and months to come.

It's the BFEE's survival instinct kicking in.

4. Never...
He never has to deal with the messes he makes -- he moves on and either leaves it for the next person or daddy's people clean up after him. He never sees the fallout from his idiocy so he doesn't grasp the problems he creates therefore he sees nothing to be humiliated about. Everything is rosy from his narrow perspective.

7. This is actually the scary part, though.
Whoever they replace him with will be the designated 2008 Republican candidate, who will then be running as an incumbent. We've been wondering about this scenario here the last couple of years, and now it looks like it's about to play out...

18. He'd have to appoint someone who could be approved by the Dem Senate.
And I think it requires a two-thirds vote, so it couldn't be approved by the Pukes plus a few Dinos. I don't think he could get any likely Pub 2008 candidate approved. It would likely be an elder place-holder like Baker or an old Pub Senator or Rep who'd soon be retiring anyway.

15. Yeah, he'll resign, and Shrub will pardon him...
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 11:55 AM by Wednesdays
Then Shrub will resign, and the two vacancies filled with McCain and Giuliani, who will then pardon Shrub (don't laugh--remember 1974?). The BFEE will be out of power (for the moment), but (in their mind) at least they won't be prosecuted. And the GOP will then have a incumbent ticket the MSM will fawn over in 08. :puke:

12. I wonder if Baker has taken some of the power back from Dick
Some of the Presidential power that Dick didn't let chimp have.
Now that Daddy bu$h's men are in the WH, they are telling Dick how it is.

13. Lots more skeletons from where that came from. Poppy'll protect dim son.
Great post and a spot-on analysis, seafan. That is exactly what is occurring.

Now that Rumsferatu is in the water, not much there between Sneer and a walk down the plank.

Gates is total BFEE. Sniffing around him will bring up more than Iran-Contra and the October Surprise.

Maybe they'll all end up keel-hauled. Or worse.

16. Octafish, thanks. May we all soon hit the mother lode of truth and accountability on these creeps.
The entire world is watching us.

There have now been two stark turning points that have occurred since George W. Bush seized office with the blessings of his daddy's friends on the US Supreme Court.

The first was on September 12, 2001, when the whole world stood with us in empathy, sorrow and support. And George W. Bush threw that away with both hands.

The second occurred on November 7, 2006, when Americans swept the U. S. Congress clean of Republican tyranny.

With God as our witness, we will now do our duty to America and to the world.

19. More questions keep rising up through the mud
Is BFEE PNAC?

Is the private bank Carlyle bankrolling them?

Will Wolfowitz and Cheney and Kristol and other PNAC folks be joing BFEE in Paraguay?

20. Translation: Bush Family Evil Empire. BFEE. I looked it up.
It would help if people would translate their shorthand. I thought BFEE was some kind of republican party committee.

I think it's inevitable that the New American Century people: PNAC: I.E.: Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Pearle, Rice, Bolton, will take this apointment of Gates, the replacement for Rumsfeld, as George's decision to run home to poppy for a bailout. It's what he always does.

This photo is nothing new: When did you ever hear of Cheney visiting in Crawford, or camp david for that matter? There's never been anything but contempt between george and dick, and so now, that's why dick was not much help in this last election. Dick's inside pollsters probly knew in september/october that the game was up. Only george and karl were waving the GOP banner last week. Cheney was nowhere to be found.

The real question is, if Rumsfeld is gone, and Cheney resigns, who will Rice and Bolton take orders from?

They'll all have to go back to Cheney's basement and cook up the next Project for a new american century.

The really funny thing is, the last time they were all marginalized was when Russia fell. Now that their own regime is toppled, and their Iraq quagmire is exposed, they're shit out of luck. No way can they reconstitute a third campaign to take over the world.

If the next president is actually a republican, you can be sure it won't be a PNAC-er.

(For anyone who wants to get the info on PNAC, read up on them on their own site: www.newamericancentury.org. Click on the letters link, and find the one to Clinton in 98 asking him to invade Iraq. The truth is, they cooked up the iraq invasion in 91 in cheney's basement. A great read is Gary Dorien: Imperialism.)
