For Veteran's day. Hope you guys and girls that this applies to like it.

Veterans All

I was a lion when we met in the jungle, yet hunted also was I.

Scorpion on blazing sand, stinging fast but adder lies in wait.

Mighty Leviathan swimming in the oceans but the sharks came from below.

Near Belgium's shores, in Vietnam's jungles, in the wastelands of Iraq.

Who was predator and who was prey? Was the monster the victor? Did a victim lose the day?

It wasn’t our fight, or maybe it was.

Thrown together by far away men. Seeking significance with our blood.

Would we have been friends? Could we ever now?

Not so different we two. Just fighters.

Veteran’s All.

3. Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits is a great tribute.

These mist covered mountains
Are a home now for me
But my home is the lowlands
And always will be
Some day youll return to
Your valleys and your farms
And youll no longer burn
To be brothers in arms

Through these fields of destruction
Baptisms of fire
Ive watched all your suffering
As the battles raged higher
And though they did hurt me so bad
In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me
My brothers in arms

Theres so many different worlds
So many differents suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones

Now the suns gone to hell
And the moons riding high
Let me bid you farewell
Every man has to die
But its written in the starlight
And every line on your palm
We are fools to make war
On our brothers in arms

5. In answer to the question they have Adders-they're worse.

To you Veterans, Salute. Thank you, Brothers & Sisters.

edit: About the adders, I' just know what the nature shows say. Nothing bad should be inferred about the PLaid Adder, who is a different story.
