I like Jame Carville but he is way off base on replacing Howard Dean. Dean did a great job with the election. His fifty state strategy is the only way that the Democrats can continue to hold a majority and maybe even the white house in '08. Carville should shut his trap on this one. He and other DLC members were pissed that Dean got the position in the first place.

The fifty state strategy was KEY in bringing races like NE-03, KS-02, and ID-01 into play. Of course there was infighting between Dean and Emanual, but it was because of DEAN that the GOP was playing defense in NEBRASKA. Emanual couldn't even find Nebraska on a map...

2. I don't like Carville much.. |
|
He never seems to say anything that adds to the discussion. Begala (sp?) is much better imo.

He may just fall off that stage.

6. Thank goodness Carper didn't get it. He would have had |

the DNS's "50 states" canvassers "reaching across the aisle" and campaigning for both the Dems and Repubs equally.

8. James Carville is a big fat dummy... |

I like Cajun food. That's the only thing we have in common. He's a typical Clinton-era DLCer: fiscally conservative, socially out-of-touch.
He's a partisan attack-dog hack. I remember one time when Jerry Falwell was on Crossfire, he had the opportunity to refute any issue that Falwell supported. Instead, he attacked Falwell for...
believing in Hell! Good job, dumbass.
Jon Stewart was right about him, and I'm glad he's no longer on TV.

why people can't disagree without piling on and eviscerating those with whom you disagree?
Apparently not.

14. Some people thought his hick act was cute for a while |
|
but his constant sniping at progressive Dems and his backstabbing of Kerry in '04 has pretty much shut him out of the party conultant gigs. Now he can only find work for South American dictators. I wish he'd just go the fuck away.
