11. If it's about that, don't worry; people will believe what they want to.
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 03:17 PM by LoZoccolo
There's nothing you can do about it, but I imagine that pretty much no one changes anyone's mind, so you don't have to worry about all the people running around trying to change other peoples' minds.

17. I'm not looking for a fight, but to ignore a coup attempt within the party
for the sake of party unity is like not discussing higher tax rates for the rich because that's class warfare. Check out the posts about Carville's remarks today. The fight for the heart and soul of the party is already on.

20. You mean the Bill Clinton and Carville who did such a bang-up
job holding the COnress in 1994, 1996, 1998 and who helped Al GOre win in a landslide in 2000?

21. whaaaa
94 was lost due to corruption
96 and 98 were lost to gerrymandering and voter suppression, this year was won because the anger of the electorate was big enough to overcome both gerrymandering and voter suppression(fraud).

22. And the gerrymandering happened because....
the party was allowed to wither on the vine while the Republicans took over the State Houses.
