I stand with Governor Dean
James Carville can kiss my shiny metal ass. Saying the Dems won in spite of Dean! If they could do it without him, why didn't they before now! Oh, I'm pissed.

(excuse the beefcake - it's the only pic I have of him in my photobucket account)

35. I would stand, sit, lie down, cartwheel or do a downward facing dog
next to Howard Dean.

He speaks for me.
He speaks for my family.
He speaks for my friend, Mrs. Grumpy!

:hi: bigwill!

3. Me Too - Carville is irrelevant, just trying to get attention.
Perhaps Mary Matalin and Fundraising for Scooter Libby just aren't taking up enough of his time.

12. Carville is representing the Wall Street Democrats
who are men like former Secretary of the Treasury Rubin who want the budget balanced, but not on their backs or the backs of their wealthy clients.

Dean's 50 state initiative got Congress back. Now the WSDs are terrified that their taxes are going back up, and with good reason. The rise in taxes at the top can no longer be Clinton's very modest rise. The country is in enough fiscal trouble that it will have to be a substantial rise.

That's why they were perfectly happy letting the DLC bungle campaign after campaign, keeping their own party out of power.

They can console themselves that Stupid will veto everything that questions the only achievement of his misrule, the tax cuts.

That's who Carville is speaking for. He sure as hell isn't speaking for me.

But I do like that one as well.

36. Indeed. They look like they might actually like each other
Dean doesn't strike me as a phony, and Kerry doesn't act that way toward someone unless he likes him.

19. Good point. We have 4 field organizers here in WI that weren't there before
Don't tell me that didn't have an effect.

Carville knew how to get Clinton elected in the 1990's. That does NOT make him an expert on how to do it now. He was wrong to tell Kerry to focus on economics in 2004, and he's wrong now.

And if Harold Ford is so hot, then why didn't he win his seat. It seems to me Carville is just trying to find the shmuck a job.

16. I believe James Carville is envious of Dean's success
Why would he want Dean out and Ford in? Ford couldn't even win in this election, and he's not nearly
experienced enough to tackle anything this large. Dean has the ability of making look so easy; and it
was remarkable that Jon Steward would apologize to Howard; and even commended him on his job well done.

Go produce your movies, Carville, let the real democrats bask in this glory for a while....:toast: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

25. Howard Dean will guide our party to victory in 2008
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 04:44 PM by INdemo
Remember we have to defend our Houise seats in just two short years.I belive Howard Dean has already begun to lay out his strategy to retain our Majority in 2008..

Somehow I just dont buy this Ford replacing Dean..I think this is a Karl Rove propaganda story and the MSM is picking up on it..
What else does Rove have to talk about now..he wants make as much noise as he can before he leaves..

If he wasn't being a douche right now I might be more inclined to support him. But he and Carville are really getting on my nerves.

Howard Dean gets what most Washington pols don't. Noone likes being taken for granted, whether one is black or other minority, anti-war, pro-choice, Christian, or whatever.

And without him, this party would still be in sad shape. The DLC hates him because his strategies have made them irrelevant.
