"Biblical homeschooling would stop idiots who fell for Michael J Fox ' publicity stunt' "
Considering Homeschooling: Building the Values Voter Base and Hope for Future Elections
Contact: Charles B. Lowers, Considering Homeschooling, 949-916-6816, info@consideringhomeschooling.com

MEDIA ADVISORY, Nov. 9 /Christian Newswire/ --In the wake of an election that was devastating to the pro-family and pro-life agenda, Considering Homeschooling (www.consideringhomeschooling.com) a nationwide homeschool recruitment group, urges Christians families to view homeschooling as a long-term means to protect the family and influence government.

"America and much of the church are spiritually and intellectually bankrupt, which is not surprising since we send the majority of our Christian children off to public schools to be indoctrinated into the religion of secular humanism and moral relativity," said Charles B. Lowers, Executive Director of Considering Homeschooling, "Millions of grown up public school children, including those labeling themselves 'Christian' are sowing ruin at the ballot box."

"Public schools are liberal voter factories that have been eroding our society's Christian worldview for generations. Most Christians sent to public schools do not hold a biblical worldview by graduation, so why would anyone expect them to vote wisely?"

"In contrast, biblical homeschooling can produce highly educated individuals who can see through a Michael J. Fox publicity stunt," says Lowers, "Even my five year old knows the difference between adult stem cells and stem cells harvested from unborn babies, which is more than I can say for the average American voter."

"Here is the hope – that if Christian parents took seriously the responsibility God gave them to train up their own children and homeschooled, those biblically grounded children would use the blessing of representative democracy to elect governments and pass laws that honor God and His commandments."

"Those who know the Lord need to be strategic and approach the future with optimism. Millions more Christian children being homeschooled would have a big impact on the future of this country, not to mention the eternal souls of those children. If your goal is to eliminate abortion, protect marriage, or to stop human cloning, then homeschooling the next generation of Christians should be part of your plan."

there are too many Christians who have abandoned any pretence at being charitable, humble or loving. I get it.

14. They INSIST on being Persecuted!!
Only reason I can think of for their evil, unrealistic, totally un empathetic stand on the issues of the day. They wander in a delusion filled fog, insulting and demeaning all who are not exactly like them, and then whine about all the persecution they suffer. As if the persecution makes them feel like they stand for something!!

Damn nihilistic freaks.

21. They live for the suffering of others
They will deny medicine to those in pain, they inhibit research into lifesaving therapies, they will make a rape victim have the baby, they love war and torture is the coolest thing ever. Their icon is a guy being brutally tortured and executed, what else would you expect?

and that was precisely why I sent my kids to public schools. Home school? Damn, they would have gotten even more of a "secular" education from ME than in public school.

This nonsense never ceases to amaze--and terrify--me. However, more and more I realize that the appeal of this pollution is quite limited. Not as limited as I wish it were, but I have to believe that most people simply aren't this crazy.

9. Yes, because in my Primary Grade classrooms, I encouraged all the boys
to be gay and all the girls to get abortions. We regularly practiced Bible burnings.

I wonder how they figured it out. :eyes:

Yes....well....lets hope that after 12 years of learning from idiots like you, and after he wins 15 spelling bees but still thinks the earth is younger than the invention of glue, that his PHD (if he stays out of the truly lucrative field of religion) is worth more than the paper it is printed on.

25. The blessing and the curse of the internets
I guess we need to accept the bad along with the good, and the upshot of the good here is that a complete looney tunes like Lowers raises his profile temporarily only to get more completely shut down. By getting out in the open like this, he will lead a few people astray, no doubt, but he will eventually overstep his craziness and become an irrelevancy.

30. You can't fool these guys!
THEY KNOW THE TRUTH! That the best, most guaranteed way, to produce (reproduce) a died-in-the-wool Conservative (Republican) voter--is to withhold all education and access to knowledge beyond what they can get while locked in the closet and never let out of the house. With just 18 years of brainwashing and liberal (egad, not that word) use of corporal punisment (physically violent beatings/slow meticulous torture; preferrably applied at random), they CAN indeed convert a human infant into something resembling themselves, an ignorant, intolerant, violent, proper wife-beating, alcoholic Christian Conservative/Republican! If they just add proper training in how to lie, cheat and steal, they can produce not only a voter, but an electable Republican Politician!

"Even my five year old knows the difference between adult stem cells and stem cells harvested from unborn babies, which is more than I can say for the average American voter."

I know the difference, asswipe, and I also have read that scientific studies show that adult stem cells just aren't as effective as embryonic. But hey, if you're willing to adopt a few embryos to gestate them, be my guest. Otherwise, they're going to be discarded.

36. Representative democracy is not a "blessing."
Representative democracy is not a blessing. A blessing is something bestowed by a higher power. God didn't give us representative democracy; good men and women, mostly liberal in idealology and frequently atheistic, bought it for us. It was actual human beings who kept it for us, and not Jesus. In fact, it was a bunch of bisexual, pagan Greeks who came up with the idea in the first place.

Also, someone from the public school system should really stop by their house and explain the difference between an "unborn baby" and an embryo to the parents of that five year old.

39. OMG--these people are insane!
I do NOT understand how people can demand that public school teachers have degrees and be certified by the state and continue their education throughout their careers--but they themselves are perfectly capable of providing their children with a good education?

It boggles the mind.

I don't have children, but if I did, I would no more try to teach them at home that I would try to lasso the moon. I'm not qualified to teach anything except music (because I have a music ed degree), but math, science, literature? No way.

Public school provides an invaluable learning experience, not just from books. To deny children of those experiences is just sad.

I'll refrain from what I really think about all this--it's kinda rude.
