2. Why would he want Tweety's time spot? |
|
He has the best time slot on MSNBC, the primetime slot up against the Falafel Master.

I always thought that 7:00 was a better time slot for news though.

9. If you look at the whole evening talking head ratings, Matthews & Carlson are MSNBC's weakest shows |
|
Among 25-54 year olds, Matthews's early solo show gets about 60% of Keith's audience size. The later Hardball show is getting only 1/3rd the number of 25-54 year olds that Olbermann gets.

3. Tweety's got nothin' on KO. |
|
MORE KO!! He's brilliant, funny, and much more professional when it's called for.

5. Closing in on Bill O'Rally! |
|
That is the one advertisers go for, so that means Bill and Keith will compete for ads soon.

7. Unfortunately MSNBC is going to be restructured and the political shows |
|
like Tweety and KO are being moved to CNBC. By the way the whole "horse race" between KO and O'Liar is a bit misleading. Here is Siskiyou County, cable carries only Fox, not MSNBC. When I try to tell my DEM friends about KO they say they can't get him but instead watch O'Reilly "to get an idea about what the opposition is thinking".
Yuck..stronger stomachs than mine.

10. It is is NOT TRUE that the political shows are moving to CNBC. |
|
That was a speculation being talked of before NBC announced its actual restructuring plan, but the actual plan does not call for that.
Variety recently reported that while Hardball and Countdown will be moving studios to 30 Rock, those programs will remain on MSNBC.
By the way, Keith actually took time out on the show last night to thank the 1,009,000 or so viewers his show had in total Wednesday night--including those in the "key demographic." That was nice. ("If I'd known there were going to be so many of you, I'd have brought more news.")
