He is really fucking smart, but to him, politics is a game, and he is mad at Dean beacause Dean's strategy worked and we won big time, and Carville's DLC Repuke-lite corporate appeasement platform didn't.
The problem with him is that politics is ONLY a game. It doesn't seem to ever matter to him that people are affected one way or the other. He is our Rove, in a way.

Sorry-- but to be married to someone who is the aide to Cheney means that you don't care about people and that politics is just a game.
With hundreds of thousands dead...how can one still think politics is still just a game?
The only answer I can think of is sociopathic soullessness. I don't care what party you claim to be in that case.

After the cameras get turned off, and they cashed their checks from their respective party loyalists... the Carvilles go home to crack open a beer or two and laugh and laugh, then they make notes one what talking points and responses will hit the pundits tomorrow.
