Poll question: So McCain is running.... |
|
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 08:49 PM by Clarkie1
If he should win the nomination (far from certain, but let's suppose), which Democrat do you think would have the greatest chance of defeating him and the national security and "independent thinker" cards he will try to play?

3. Yikes! Can't believe I left Big Al out! |
|
I've edited the poll. I like Gore a lot.

5. I think that just maybe my cat Hobbes |
|
would have a good chance of beating that fraud.
Just what does McCain stand for, except his unbridled ambition for the presidency?

7. Gore is always my 1st choice - one downside w/him just occurred to me tho... |
|
All of the others can optionally take either prez OR vp. With Gore, that option doesn't exist - he can ONLY be prez.
It's not a big thing, particularly - just thought I'd mention it.

8. Too torn between Gore and Clark to choose |
|
I think a Gore/Clark ticket would be unstoppable. I think we can tear Vets away from McCain with his shaky stand on the torture issues.

12. Especially with Clark on the ticket, he could counter all McCain's nonsense. |

Gore could counter it as well, but Clark being a military man would be even better!

Gore supporters wishing for him to run in '08 are like ABBA fans expecting the group to reunite for a tour. In either case, it ain't gonna happen, so please move on!! Gore has dedicated himself to raising awareness about global warming, period.
Can we please stick to reality, instead of wishing for some dream candidate? If you'll recall, Gore picked LIE-berman as his running mate, so he's a lot more DLC than Howard Dean, folks....
I'm not trying to pee on anyone's parade, but when a man makes a decision about the direction of his life, the best way to respect and honor HIM is to respect and honor his DECISION.
Please, let Al Gore live his life the way HE wants to.
