Sometimes, when I try to quit smoking, I get emotional
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 11:52 PM by MoseyWalker
When the world turns seemingly my way for a day or two, I get emotional.

When others seem to be smiling more and sharing more happiness, I get emotional.

When the dem's take over the House AND the Senate, I get emotional.

Sometimes the world seems to be just turning our way, and I get emotional.

Somebody give me a cigarette!

peace

2. There is only one sensible way to quit smoking.
Have major surgery, then be confined to bed on a morhpine drip for a month. It worked for me.

Until two weeks after I got out of the hospital.

3. Hey! at least you quit!
maybe this should be a GD thread about the importance of morphine drips and the lack of them in the general population when needed!

7. I am a long time activist for anesthesia parlors.
When general anesthesia is administered, and the doctor says, "OK you studly hunk, count back from 100." .... if they could hold you at 97, boy would that be nice every now and then.

5. I am on day fifteen
Don't know why but the good news coming out of the elections Tuesday night made me want a smoke more than any other time during these last fifteen days.
