Somebody needs to reply to the stupid al-Qaeda statement |
Listening to MSNBC in the background, and they've run that story 3 times in the last hour, about al-Masri celebrating the Democratic victory. It shouldn't really be worthy of a reply, but if it's not it'll be twisted into proof Democrats are weak on security and defense.
One of our Dem leaders should reply that make no mistake we will destroy them, only we'll be much smarter and effective in doing it.

2. Agreed, it's a challenge |
I won't even bother getting into who it really comes from for it matters not. The thing is, it should be responded to with a swift and firm rebuke from somebody among the Dems.

4. Jack Murtha would be good |
Someone with a military background who's been vocal about Iraq. Or it could be a good rehab for Kerry if he could do it in a brief, unequivocal statement.

5. I would think the thought that the Dems would actually be on the side |
of the Iraqis and not the oil companys would make everyone in the Middle East celebrate. Just another stupid news story told by more stupid people. Remember all those kids in the ME somewhere that were celebrating 9-11? Turned out to be a lie.

6. The thought that Dems have a sane foreign policy |
has made people all over the globe happy. That should be the story but it's not. Instead, the less politically aware are hearing the al-Qaeda story, whether its factual or not. And if they don't see a strong Democratic reply in the same corporate media, it becomes fodder for the spin mill and reinforces misperceptions that Dems aren't as strong on defense and security issues.

8. This is just lazy reporting |
I sure they could find several disgruntled republicans just outside their door that would want to make similar anonymous type of threats.
