Veterans' Day
As I Remember my fallen Brothers today. I think of those in our current war.

About 1.3 million troops have served in Iraq and Afghanistan (GAO) Reporting

86,000 already granted a VA disability, 30,000 claims still pending review (GWU National Archives)

38,000 already receiving VA care for psychological injuries. (Stars & Stripes)

20,000 returned with polytraumatic injuries (Iraq Coalition Casualty Count)

Final percentage of troops expected to have PTSD (VA One out of Four)

2844 Dead in Iraq Another 350 in Afghanistan (With No End in Site)

Keep your families in mind today and keep them safe. But think of those who are fighting in Bush's war. Lets Bring the Home Now the cost is to high for his lies. PEACE

1. AMEN
God bless all of our veterans. Thank you for your sacrifice. And for those fighting Bush's illegal war, you are in my prayers every night! Here's hoping you all come home safely, and soon.

3. It got lost yesterday and I've changed it
so I'm reposting a little poem a wrote for today.

I was a lion when we met in the jungle, yet hunted also was I.

Scorpion on blazing sand, stinging fast but adder lies in wait.

Mighty Leviathan swimming in the oceans but the sharks came from below.

Near Belgium's shores, in Vietnam's jungles, in the wastelands of Iraq.

Who was predator and who was prey? Was the monster the victor? Did a victim lose the day?

It wasn’t our fight, or maybe it was.

Thrown together by far away men. Seeking significance with our blood.

Would we have been friends? Could we ever now?

Not so different you and I. Just fighters.

Veteran’s All.
