No F**KING SH*T!
Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 10:46 AM by rpannier
My apologies for the language but

National Guard combat brigades that have already served in Iraq may be called for a second tour, likely breaking the 24-month deployment limit initially set by the Pentagon, the Guard's top general said. "When that policy was originally formulated, I seriously doubt anyone thought we would be where we are today," Lt. Gen. H. Steven Blum said.

"...I seriously doubt anyone thought we would be where we are today," Thank you Gen Blum for stating the obvious.

First: No one thought about it because they were too busy planning on how f**king rich they were gonna get off the oil and no-bid contracts.

Second: Thinking is something the M*THER F*CKERS in this Admin never seem to do.

Third: Why should we be F*KING surprised they didn't see this. They didn't see 9/11, they didn't see a vibrant insurgency, they didn't see Iraq becoming a breeding ground for terrorists, they didn't see a resurgent taliban in Afghanistan, they didn't see the Hamas winning the elections, they didn't see the levees breaking, they didn't see losing the elections in 06.
They never see anything

2. "No one could have imagined - (fill in the blank)."
This is the motto of this ridiculous dictatorship. How big a list do we have so far?

"Planes as missiles"

"That the levies would break"

Too many to write. And don't apologize for this corrupt, incompetent criminal gang making you curse, they fucking make everyone curse...

3. Judging by the range of surprise I should be king of the world.
...guess I alone have the super human powers that allowed me to
see this quagmire coming before we even rolled onto Iraqi sand.
Well, just me and those millions of others marching in the streets
but just the same. I wanna be king.

I agree with OP. These declarations of surprise are condescending to the max.
How frigging stupid are we presumed to be?? (rhetorical question.)

7. The majority of Poppy's retainers all said it was a stupid thing to
do, but as usual, Junior wouldn't listen. This all just makes me sick to my stomach. Quoting Jack Burton: "Son of a bitch must pay!"

9. I`m holding my breath on this one.
Vermont had so many Guard members in Iraq. I`m hoping they don`t have to go back.

11. You know what's scary?
When this war first started (I was 16 I think) I imagined most of what has already happened. If I could see it then, at that age, why the hell couldn't they???

12. Because they are only interested in money and power.
They will do whatever it takes to get more and more of it, and anything that won't bring those things to them, they are not interested in. They make me sick.

13. they are less mature
and far far greedier

and that nagging little character flaw that all Republicans have, sociopathy.

"the sociopath, a sufferer of an 'antisocial personality disorder', has no feelings for others,"
