across the Wabash! I live in Crawford County, IL and would have voted for Ellsworth had I been able.

Edited to add: I also believe that Dr. David Gill could have beat Tim Johnson in my district with DCCC funding...

2. Where's the fifth district, btw?
I know Indiana dems picked up 3. Do they really have six out of nine districts now?

8. GOP only won 9/33 Senate races Tuesday, &they only had 15/33 to defend
This implies that they will have a large number of seats to defend in 2008, and an unpopular war still smoldering at least. (I got distracted at the CNN link you sent me. Thanks for the update) I note that the Indiana Dems knocked out three Republican incumbents! Whoa, good work!!

but thats much better than 2 out of 9....
The 5th borders the 3rd and runs south to Shelby

6. "Solid" NE + Midwest + West Coast > "Solid South". But we should
keep working to make inroads in the South as well.
