He added that he has "fundamental confidence in the power of the underlying agenda of this President," and cited fighting the war on terror, entitlement reform, energy, tax cuts, immigration reform, No Child Left Behind reauthorization, democracy agenda in the Middle East, reducing trade barriers, spending restraint and legal reform.

If they had actually acted on any of those principles, they would probably still be in charge.

How can their supporters not see through the bullshit? They promised all that, and delivered just the opposite. We won this year because people in the center finally woke up to the fact that every single thing they promised was no more than election year hot air. Lies to cover up the lies that were told to deflect consequences for the lies.
