So Bush Did Have A "Man-Date" In 2004
We were all right saying it was Jeff Gannon!

I just saw that MSNBC has a poll where Bush has 31% approval rating.

The only mandate he could have had was Jeff Gannon

(No offense intended to any GLBT DU'ers, just seriously trying to figure out Bush's brain in making the statement that he had a mandate. He overplayed his hand so badly, one has to wonder what he is smoking in the White House)

1. None taken...
I already hate being B with the greater attraction to G. So if I find somebody S and the chance of mutual attraction is there, I will definitely go that route.

Monogamy is easy. Living is hard.

3. "Puns Are The Lowest Form Of Wit"
-Oscar Wilde.
The "mandate" that Bush was talking about was the statistical 51% who voted for him. The jokes about his "mandate" come about because few consider a bare majority to be a "mandate" and no candidate has ever previously claimed it represented one.

8. Should I say something offensive about Christians,
Then say "no offense intended to any Christian DUers" to try to make it ok?

10. Gannon symbolizes all that's wrong with White House Press Corpse.
"Good boy."

This is what should offend any DUer, gay or straight:

Jeff Gannon is a Republican media plant. The fact he also is a gay prostitute given special access to the White House brings up many important questions that have not been answered. For example: Why was Gannon putting down Democrats and playing up Republicans? Why was Gannon allowed to overnight at the White House? Who gave him press credentials? What exactly is his relationship to Bush?
