Anyone who opposes same-sex marriage cannot get married. Any straight couple who thinks same-sex couples should have the same rights as they do should be allowed to marry.

And if you lie and say you support same-sex marriage, but are found out not to support it, your marriage is invalidated.

And it sounds a bit nutty, and I'm hardly the first person to think about it, but maybe hetero couples should stop getting married until sam-sex couples can enjoy the same rights. The far right was worried that the 6-3 ruling overturning "sodomy laws" would somehow "lead to gay marriage". I don't see the connection, but what if they were right? If so, it would still be 5-4 if a case like Lawrence vs. Texas were done today. Perhaps, if the far right's fears are true, same-sex marriage will be legalized by the Supreme Court! I can hear the cries of agony from the right now. "They're doing it through the Courts and not the ballot box!!!!!" Well, they should just remember what their boy John McCain stated about who makes it to the Courts: "Elections have consequences!" The people have chosen Democrats to control the Senate.
