Deep into Mentat mode: the mid-terms sliced and diced
For any Dune fans out there: several folks (including one in particular) are deep into "Mentat mode," crunching the data from the mid-terms, plugging it into previously-completed research, and updating the models for how BushCo. gets exposed in the new Congressional landscape.

While I would love for the Dems to practice the fine are of Kanley on the current administration, I think it would be counterproductive. Investigate, bring it all out into the open, then meet out appropriate punshiments.

Definitely parallels to some degree, and Star Wars as well. Bush I is like the Emporer and Cheney & Neocons: the evil Harkonens? Rove could be the floating guy. Bush II is like the Sting character, cool for some, but still eeevilll!

CineMax started 12 midnight playing all Star Wars movies in order back to back.

Reminds me of what it is like to band together and battle "the evil empire."
