1. A and B.
Let's keep an eye on Waxman. And write and call Conyers and Pelosi.

6. Presidential power must be checked for civil rights to be restored
If we let Bush get away with this it will only embolden those who come next.

The line over which a President CAN NOT pass must be vigorously re-drawn. I'm not sure how you do that without punishing Mr. Bush.

One misquoted statement two months before they can do anything about it. And you'd think donkeys had morphed into elephants overnight :eyes:

5. I'm just holding out hope
that BushCo will be headed to prison rather than impeached.
The media can't smear the law out of the way as easily.

I'm giving it some time before I go back to screaming about DINO's everyday of my life.
If you're right, we get what we deserve here.
It'll get real hard either way, the damage is done. It's very big and pervasive.

Please read this Hissyspit and others here, but please don't let on to Republicans you may know. I want them to feel the pain -and I want folks like us, who tried in every way to prevent it, to be prepared.

7. Earlier today
there was something on MSNBC that stated, dems will not make a case on what led us to war.

It’s very disappointing.

8. And you believed it?
The MSRNC and the rest of the Three Monkeys Media is going to be lying it's collective head off about what Dems will or won't do for the next few months

9. Maybe I do,
Democratic reps haven't done much to hold this White House accountable in the past few years. One would open their mouth and the rest would hide for cover.

12. I can understand why she feels so - Only 10 senators demanded Downing Street inquiry
and if there was ever a smoking gun on Iraq - that was it.

The coverup wing of the Dem party wanted the DSM ignored and downplayed.

10. INVESTIGATE! Then EVERYONE Will Demand Impeachment!
Impeachment will be a bipartisan effort when it happens.

Nixon resigned when it became apparent that members of his own party would vote to impeach hm.

Impeachment isn't the end. It is the beginning.
They'll try to pardon themselves/each other, of course.
So we will have to sent them to the Hague.

The Peace Palace. The Hague. Netherlands. Home of the International Criminal Court.

The U.N. prison at the Peace Palace. Home of convicted war criminals.

14. Who says we won't attempt ALL OF THE ABOVE.
We have already stated that we want to bring home the troops, we will begin investigations and we will see justice.

Can't promise the "I" word because as Pelosi said focusing on JUST Bush/Cheney would be a very narrow approach. The Republican Party is corrupt as a whole.
