Click & Clack has edited out soldier calling from Iraq on their website!
I was reading in this DU thread about a US soldier in Iraq that called NPR's radio show 'Car Talk' about how to keep vehicles running smoothly with two tons of 'extra armor'. I followed the links provided to the Car Talk website and clicked onto the segment that supposed to have this part of the broadcast and got a repeat of the next segment. I then listened to the full broadcast and discovered that this has been edited out.

3. You know, you're right.
I didn't think of it that way. If someone was planning to attack one of these vehicles, broadcasting venerable areas is not a good defense. My apologies to Click & Clack.

2. I heard that segment this morning.
It was great. Guy's trucks were 4500 lbs. overweight with extra armor. They are running through suspensions systems like crazy. Springs bottoming out, shocks last a week if that long. C&C suggested lubing all the service points every other day - and wished him good luck.
