Veterans Day
We just got back from VWF Post 3788 which my husband belongs to and I used to volunteer in the kitchen. I spoke to the ONLY fellow on leave until November 24th privately and he goes back to Iraq on that date, we chatted and he told me that they are not getting letters from family, forget parcels, they are not getting support from their respective families or friends! Mail time is not good.
I am going to have adopt a soldier or a marine. I have just now asked my husband and son if they minded if I adopted a marine or soldier, I got the okay. This is bad news as far as I am concerned because this post is from one of the largest in San Diego. Unbelievable.

1. Why aren't they receiving
support from families & friends? I can't imagine that!

(If you're not sure how to donate, try http://www.anysoldier.com --they have some ideas & contacts.)

2. Veterans Day
Yes it is hard to believe, but it happened to me and I heard it from a military guy. I am sure that website you posted will be fine. However, I am going to go through the VFW Post we belong to.
Hey you ladies on online, good looking guy and single also, about 25/30 I would say, but he is going back to Iraq on the 24th. Like rummie tells us .... we have the army..... nevermind, you all know the rest of this statement. However, I am still with the same military man I married years ago on September 11th to be exact, he is retired now.
