11. Thanks for doing this, they're all great
but if any one personifies a toon = 1,000 words it would be the 6th one, "Rumsfeld Steps Down". Chillingly spot on.

15. Thank you for gathering these and sharing them. They're all great
(I esp liked "Howard Dean's on the phone..."!) Wish I had a decent printer, I'd plaster them all over my walls. Did you have another post recently mainly about the recent elections?

Thanks again!

But, the Ford one isn't really true: the loyality problem was with the American public who still buys into the crap that foreign cars are better. They're not really. Trust me. I've only owned Ford for 20 years, now and never had a problem with one. Hell, my Mom has an 87 Ford Escort that still runs.

20. I've always bought Fords, and I will continue to do so
I sometimes have problems with them, but I am fiecely brand-loyal on this one. I keep each one about 7 years. What is the average life-time for a vehicle in general?

27. I'll trade your anecdotal evidence for mine.

Our '95 Taurus, the one I've spoken of fairly well in the past, just
got pushed out to pasture after it ate its *SECOND* $2700 transmission.

Strangely enough, that's two more transmssions than all of the other
cars in my life, combined.

Our mechanic also explained that, even though the rest of the car
was running okay and the body was in pretty good shape, the car
had essentially no scrap value even as a "parts car" because the
world is full of junked Tauruses that all run fine except that their
transmissions are dead.

Thanks, Ford. :(

Last cartoon should have shown up on login, like the old home page. It deserves it. THEY deserve it.

31. K & R!!!
Thanks, Glenda!

The "Help from the Grown-up Table" was exquisite. :spray:
Little Boy Bush needing Poppy to cut up his meat for him- the symbolism was obvious, but the sippy cup was the final touch that had me in hysterics.

Thanks for collecting and giving us this richness! :yourock:
