Can a Vice President be fired?

How would you seriously go about getting rid of a vice president? Can they be fired? Is the only hope that they resign on their own? Can congress do something?

5. If he resigns, we can't impeach his ass. If Cheney resigns "for healt

reasons" then Bush will appoint that two faced McCain, for whom we do not have grounds for impeachment. We have to get rid of both Bush and Cheney simultaneously.

I believe he was nailed for taking money in an unmarked envelope, while in his VEEP office. Still, he had to go before Nixon could be impeached, so it was awfully convenient. Not that I regret any of it.

is the only official in the executive branch that doesn't serve at the president's pleasure. However, no VP serves at the president's displeasure.

If a president wants to get rid of a VP, while he can't actually "fire" him, he has other ways to pressure the VP to resign.

Everything -- and that includes everything -- that Bush does is grandiosity. But that's another story!
