From Freeperville...

Here's a quote from an article that was posted on FR about Rove.

"Will Mr Rove’s reputation as a peerless strategist survive it?"

Here are some responses to the article:

You can't expect liberals to know how to spell or use a Thesaurus - public school just gives them a pass - no standards - don't you know?
Good catch!!

The Financial Times is a fairly conservative UK paper with a reputation not lower than WSJ. I and most of my colleagues in business school read it on a daily basis. And "strategerist" isn't a word, BTW.

It most certainly is here on FR. Next time wait till you've been here a lot longer before you become so critical.

5. I hate to be a wet blanket, but I get the feeling that...
...they are doing the same thing we do with newbies
and the word "moran".

Of course, I could be wrong. The depths of FRupidity
have many strong currents yet uncharted.

15. Well, possibly. There ARE a few of them who carry the 'humor' gene, y'know.
That may be the FReep-equivalent of a DUer who forgot to
use the :sarcasm: smiley.

(Bearing in mind, of course, that the FR site doesn't even
support "smileys" in the first place. It's totally 'PRE-smiley'
technology....the stuff of LEGEND!

And in THIS case...
"LEGEND" has it that the original FR "Template SiteWare"
was on a 5-inch floppy that came free with a magazine one
of RimJob's neighbors subscribed to, circa 1993.

Over the years, those who believe this have divided into two main camps:
The "Early Risers", who claim that he found it because of his habit
of "borrowing" his neighbor's more interesting mail,
{
A rapidly-growing EarlyRiser SubSect believes that RJ
had forgotten his glasses when he went out to paw through
the neighborhood mailboxes that morning, and mistook the magazine
for a photo-heavy "male bodybuilding" publication.}
and the "Garbage-Day Adventists", who point to the fact that the subscriber
was an IT Professional as PROOF that RimJob found the floppy disk in the man's
garbage can, 3 days after the magazine was delivered.)

13. Well, that's what they told me in church camp when I was a kid...
Or something like that.

Let me tell you, this was NOT a good thing to tell someone like me. I was already being trained as a critical thinker. I was like..."Huh? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard."

11. It's fake. You can't vote straight-ticket ANYTHING in Chicago
Haven't been able to since the 90s, I think. But Mr. straight-ticket voter sure doesn't live in Chicago. If he lives anywhere at all.
