I just heard the end of a Limbaugh repeat on the radio. Rush said the Democrats will always attack you, your family, your wife, and your friends if you oppose them. (Sound familiar? **cough** DeLay **cough**)
Anyhow he said they were about to start saying, "They're already talking about a lack of oversight. Let's see what the American people think when they start that."
OK Rush, let's. Let's see what happens when we reinstate the oversight mechanisms that the Republicans got rid of. Let's see what they've hidden for 12 years. Let's see what the voters think of "Republican" oversight when they learn there wasn't any.
To quote our miserable excuse for a President, "Bring it on!"

|
That's why I'm for articles of impeachment.

2. An impeachment would do the same. |
|
Even during Nixon's impeachment, their came to be a point where Nixon saw the writing on the wall and resigned. That is pretty much what happens in America. You have to lay out the evidence, and than the public turns completely, and than the President's own men say "It's time to resign."
The whole impeachment debate is sort of a non issue because impeachments don't happen anymore because any President would resign before it got to that point.
That's why we need to investigate and let the public tide drown him.

4. The process includes investigations. |
|
The House leadership says impeachment is off the table. Never mind, I'm tired of trying to make the point. I guess impeachment should be removed from the constitution. Just about everything else has.

5. Amen...When REPUBLICANS are calling for impeachment... |
|
...It'll go smooth as silk.
Also, EVERYTHING they have done is still with them. There were three driving forces at work in this last election: Iraq, scandals and Bush himself. I think Republicans will STILL have two of those three come 2008.
That ain't bling around your neck, it's ALBATROSS baby!

We must take a lesson from Watergate - public hearings uncovering the whole sordid business until the American public demands impeachment. Tip O'Neal was always smart about not getting in front of the voter on issues - said it was because of whom he worked for (the American people.)

7. The investigations were to gather a case for filing |
|
articles of impeachment. In this case, the leadership says its not.

6. Oversight is the DUTY of Congress. It's not an option. |
|
Limpballs may know this already; however, those who listen to him probably don't.

Ruch and other right-wingers talk as though they are so moral and that they care about moral values. They make up imaginary groups like "values voters" who supposedly turned the tide of the 2004 election. Yet, after all of that talk about morals, they attack and smear anyone who even suggests that a Republican might have made a mistake.
Rush, you're blinded by your partisanship and all that hate that was instilled in you by your precious GOP. It's no wonder you and yours lost power. If you have your head too far up the GOP's ass to tell that BIG mistakes were made these past six years, I'm not sure about your "morality". Ringo

I can't listen to that vile hypocritical racist without losing my lunch. I'm glad somebody's able to do it to keep everyone else informed but I don't envy the task.

10. The people who listen to Rush and believe what he says are idiots. |
|
Excuse me...they are ditto heads.
These people are amazing -- I don't think that there is "a low that they won't stoop to."
Is Limpball's memory that short? Has he forgotten about all of Rove's dirty tricks and lies?
I hate that fucking asshole.

12. I think Rush is trying to protect himself. With Jebbie being gone |
|
from the governorship in FL soon, Rush will have no protector. God knows what kind of garbage about him that has been covered up. The Comedian/Liar is worried about his own corrupt hide.
